The game takes place in Moonbury, where the residents are wary of modern medicine and rely on traditional healing methods. As the most accomplished chemist of the Medical Association, you are sent to the town to cure the mayor's daughter and convince the residents of the wonders of modern alchemy.
The game features around 30 unique inhabitants who will occasionally fall ill and call for your aid. You must diagnose their symptoms and find a cure by gathering ingredients out in the world, confronting monsters for their materials, and brewing remedies in your cauldron. Combat is in real-time, and you can brew various concoctions to buff yourself or inflict status ailments on your adversaries.
Aside from tending to the residents' health, you can build relationships with them, upgrade the town and surrounding areas, and explore the countryside with your loyal dog companion. The game's charming location and relaxed pace make it a delightful experience for RPG fans.
